Dustin Schulze

Dustin Schulze (b. 1981) is a composer, songwriter, educator, performer, and theorist who does not limit himself to any particular genre or style. He strives to create music that is at once aesthetically compelling and intellectually stimulating. He holds music degrees from the University of North Texas, Stephen F. Austin State University, and has earned his doctorate in composition from the University of Oklahoma.

His works have been performed at the Midwest, PASIC, and TMEA conferences, and are played regularly in concert halls across the world. He has also been featured as an Editors’ Choice by the JW Pepper Music Publishing Company. He is a two-time national finalist for The American Prize in composition.

Dustin has taught at the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma City University. He now serves on the faculty at Oklahoma Baptist University where he teaches percussion, aural skills, and music synthesis.
