Isaac Harari

Isaac Harari (b. 2001) completed his studies on a full scholarship at the Royal College of Music in 2024. In 2025, he was awarded first place in the Fanny Mendelssohn International Online Competition in the Marimba, Xylophone, and Vibraphone category, as well as having been a winner of the RCM’s percussion competition in 2024, a Yamaha Music Europe Foundation scholar in 2023, a Southern California Marimba International Artists’ Competition semi-finalist in 2021, a BBC Young Musician 2020 category finalist, a two-time Yamaha Futurebeat regional finalist, a Young Drummer of the Year 2018 Top 20 finalist, and a member of the World Percussion Group’s artist roster since 2021.

He has been supported by the AYM Chris Isaac Award, the Universal Music UK Sound Foundation, and the Leonardo Aggio Financial Trust. He has performed as a soloist in venues such as The Elgar Room and St. Mary Le Strand, and with his duo Sirocco at various chamber festivals, and has performed on multiple occasions in the 606 Club. In April 2024, Sirocco premiered a new concerto by Jasper Eaglesfield with the RCM Philharmonic. Isaac has performed regularly with the Pablo Barrios Latin Collective since 2024, in venues such as Alfie’s Soho and The Piano Bar.

Isaac takes a keen interest in working towards the expansion of solo and chamber percussion repertoire and contemporary jazz fusion, and had his work Nightwalker premiered by the RCM Jazz Orchestra in 2023. He has been a Tapspace published artist since 2024.
